Project

A project is a collection of various media collections. It logically combines, for example, a specific website. Based on this logical group, statistics about the usage of the imig.io service are collected, which allows the owner to easily analyze network traffic based on the media network.

To create a new project, simply enter its name. After confirming, the user will be redirected to the newly created project. In its settings, you can configure your domain's CNAME so that images are served from the same domain under which the content is published.

All content on your site, such as blog articles, is served from the domain "domain.com". A CNAME is an alternative domain name, such as "cdn.domain.com", which can be used to serve images. This way, the entire content of your website is delivered from a single source, which has a positive impact on Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Each project can have multiple collections. They can be added from the project overview.

The option to delete a project is available, but it is subject to a 90-day grace period. The data will be permanently deleted after this period.
