Collection

A collection in Imigio is a set of media of the same type within a single project. Imigio supports the ability to create multiple media collections for our application (project).

In an example product covers application, we might only use images (jpg/png/gif/webp/avif). In this case, we would create a "product-cover" collection in which we configure only the mime types that we want to support. Thus, if someone tries to upload other mime types, a validation error will be returned.

Media for a blog may be handled differently. In this case, we can allow uploading videos or audio as well—choosing the appropriate mime types to support.
