AI Image Transformation

Image Transformation with AI

Imigio is also a powerful tool for photo editing. It is especially effective in ecommerce. The store owner can easily modify their photos. In addition to simple transformations like "remove background," you can also generate whole scenes, e.g. products on shelves or against another pre-defined image background.

To use the AI modification feature, you just need to have any paid plan. Each package includes an appropriate quota you can use for image transformations. Additional transformations will be automatically charged in your next payment.

How to Get Started?

Imigio assumes that transformations can happen independently of collections. This means you can create predefined transformations independently, and then use them in various cases. There is also an option to automatically generate transformations when a new file is uploaded to a collection.

Create a Transformation

First, from your project, go to the transformation management section:

To create a new type of transformation, only a name and the default description of the scene you want to transform your images into are required. All the fields within the form are described below.

  • Name – a unique name that will allow you to identify your transformation.

  • Default scene description – description of the scene you want to generate, e.g., "Place the product in a modern Scandinavian kitchen on a light stone countertop. Use warm morning window light, neutral colors, and a clean lifestyle composition. Keep the product unchanged and clearly visible as the main subject." – More examples on how to create scene descriptions for AI-powered transformations can be found below.

  • Output style – main indicator for the AI model about which style to use for generated images.

  • Default background – you can add a default background to the transformation, which will be used for every image – useful if you want to place products in the same/identical scene. The background file should be chosen from files previously added to Imigio, independent of the collection but within the project. You can search for it by filename or its identifier.

After saving the transformation, you can start using it. To do this, go to the file browser.

In the list of images, there is a transformation icon. Click it to enter the context for generating a new transformation. At this stage, you can provide additional details for the AI that will be considered when generating a specific scene. As a rule, the scene description at the transformation level should be constructed to fully describe what should happen. In the form, select the transformation you created earlier and optionally add extra images to be placed in the scene — for example, the same product seen from another angle. The form fields are described below.

  • Transformation – the defined type of transformation to be used

  • Background image – the file to be used as the background; if not selected, the transformation description should specify what should be generated instead (for example, generate some background). If a default background is assigned to the transformation, it will be attached here as well after selecting the transformation in the field above.

  • Additional product images – you can add several extra pictures of the same product to help the model better transform the product.

  • Custom instructions – additional instructions describing the scene; this field should be used in specific cases where you want to perform a non-standard transformation compared to the instructions of the selected transformation.

  • Override output style – change the default rendered image style compared to the chosen transformation type.

After clicking the "Transform" button, let our AI do its magic. You can generate any number of images, but remember that after exceeding the package limit included in the price, additional transformations will be charged extra. After a few/several seconds, depending on the size of the transformation, the new image will appear in the list of our files.
